Premier League football club removes eagle from its logo for 24 hours to mark World Wildlife Day

Premier League outfit Crystal Palace FC was among the British football clubs which showed solidarity with World Wildlife Day yesterday. For 24 hours, they removed the eagle from the logo in their social media output, the purpose being to highlight how the world would be diminished without nature. Elsewhere, Wolverhampton Wanderers removed their wolf, Hull City their tiger and Millwall their lion. There were also other examples in various divisions.
