Former BTO director and keen birder Andy Clements to step down from board of Natural England

 

More time for birding - Andy Clements

FORMER BTO director and birdsong expert Andy Clements is to step down from the board of Natural England.

Dr Clements, who helped set up the organisation, will leave NE at the end of the month.

Also leaving is Prof Michael Winter, a rural policy academic and authority on bovine TB.

The duo, who have reached the end of their term as board members have been thanked by NE chairman Tony Juniper for "their many years of dedicated service".

He adds: "I wish them the very best with their continued efforts for Nature recovery in other roles."
