IT is too late to submit a comment on the proposed visitor centre.
After receiving almost 1,000 submissions from interested individuals, East Riding of Yorkshire planning department has bow closed its register.
However, it is not too late for anyone to lobby either for or against the controversial project - for instance by writing a Letter to the Editor of the Hull Mail, or by raising the matter in a phone-in programme on BB Radio Humberside.
The right of the public to lobby decision makers is an important element of the democratic process so there is nothing to prevent anyone from contacting the 12 councillors who are set to make a decision at East Riding Council's planning committee to be held l at its Beverley HQ on the afternoon of January 26.
