New book is "a call to appreciate birds for themselves, as individuals and as species, not as numbers on a list"

 

Birder and former longtime RSPB staffer Rob Hume has a new book coming out on February 6. It is described by Pelagic Publishing as a blend of  "memoir, gentle advice and enthusiastic advocacy -  a call to appreciate birds for themselves, as individuals and as species, and not merely as numbers on a list". Illustrated throughout with the author’s sketches and fieldnotes, the paperback will cost £20.
