Egrets, flamingos, oh yes, and an elephant - superb studies of wildlife likely to attract bids at Salisbury auction

 


Two superb paintings with an ornithological flavour are set to go under the hammer at a sale of modern British art to be held on June 5  by Salisbury auction house Woolley and Wallis. Above is a study by Anthony Gibbs, which is expected to sell for between £600 and £800  while the guide price for the painting, below, by Donald Grant is £500-£800.
