Woodcock and more - superb bird paintings set to go under hammer at sale in North Yorkshire

                                                            

This enchanting study by Rodger McPhail  of a woodcock in snow is expected to fetch between £1,000 and £1,500 when it goes under the hammer at a sale being conducted tomorrow (Saturday November 12) by Tennants auction house of Leyburn in North Yorkshire.
