RETAIL giant M&S has now ceased promoting a 'British' birds jigsaw on its website after it was widely derided on Twitter and other social media for wrongful inclusions. Among species depicted are hummingbird, blue jay, California quail, Asian white-breasted waterhen and piping plover, none of which is on the British list. The company is understood to be grilling its supplier on how the embarrassing blunder occurred.
