WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO WATCH WADING BIRDS - COUNCIL UNVEILS PLANS FOR MULTI-USE OBSERVATORY OVERLOOKING HUMBER ESTUARY
Pictured is the proposed new observatory-style building for Cleethorpes - one that will provide views over the Humber Estuary. Hopes are that it will provide the opportunity for great views - in comfort - of sanderling, redshank, curlew, oystercatcher, knot, ringed plover, dunlin and other wading birds as they feed on the shoreline (or in flight over it). Work is already underway on demolition of a former pub to make way for the new development. More information about the Cleethorpes scheme is at: https://bit.ly/2SEVA2Z
